Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the Kinly app ("the app", "we") handles your information. Kinly helps you track vaccine, medication, and vet/appointment reminders for your pets and the people in your life. By using the app you agree to this policy.

1. Information stored on your device

Kinly is designed to work fully offline. The profiles you create (pets and/or people), their reminders and schedules, care history, weight entries, and any notes you add are stored only on your device. We do not have an account or login system, and this content is never uploaded to any server we control.

2. Information collected by third parties (ads)

The free version of the app shows ads using Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google and its partners may collect and process certain information, such as your device's advertising identifier, general device information, and approximate (non-precise) location derived from your IP address. This is used to show and measure ads.

3. Purchases

Pro purchases (monthly, yearly, or lifetime) are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment details; these are handled by Google. See the Google Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your personal information. The only data shared with third parties is the advertising data described in Section 2, collected by Google AdMob, and purchase data handled by Google Play Billing.

6. Medical & veterinary disclaimer

Kinly helps you remember routine care — it is not a medical device and does not provide medical or veterinary advice. Always follow your doctor's or veterinarian's guidance, and do not rely on the app alone for critical medication or health decisions.

7. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Parents/guardians may add a profile for a family member (including a child) purely as a local reminder entry made and controlled by the adult using the app; this data still never leaves the device.

8. Deleting your data

Because your data lives on your device, you can remove it at any time by deleting a profile in the app or by uninstalling the app.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
